The Manequin Project is a virtual art gallery developed as a bachelor thesis, built entirely in Unreal Engine as an explorable 3D world. At its core is the idea of turning digital art into an experience rather than just a static asset. Users can enter the Manequin world through a website and navigate the space like a video game, discovering artworks placed within a fully designed environment. The project extends into VR, allowing the gallery to be experienced on a more immersive level. Instead of replicating a traditional exhibition, the goal was to create a new kind of interaction between viewer, space, and artwork. Every element is designed to feel part of a consistent universe. The result is a digital environment that invites exploration rather than passive viewing.

The project combines multiple layers, from the 3D world itself to NFTs, physical outputs, and real-world exhibitions. Each NFT was tied to a physical 3D-printed Manequin figure, connecting digital ownership with something tangible. The work was showcased in a museum setting in Munich, bridging the gap between virtual and physical space. Additional elements like cinematic videos, merchandise, and a printed thesis book expand the project beyond a single medium. All proceeds from NFT sales were directed to charity, supporting victims of the Hatay earthquake in Turkey. While the system includes many components, the core remains the interactive world and its atmosphere. A space designed to be explored, experienced, and continuously expanded.
